My husband is mildly allergic to all kinds of foods & lactose intolerant and so with my first I feared he'd be allergic too (I'm nervous being pregnant again) - but O turned out to be more tolerant like me! With gluten anyway, the alternatives are usually healthier.. Thanks for raising awareness so we can understand others and possibly what the deal is with our own children:)Ann @ Healthy Tasty Chowhttp://healthytastychow.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8620220818900512579.post-1602246993682768792010-05-08T23:32:49.235-07:002010-05-08T23:32:49.235-07:00I have a daughter with celiac disease (must eat gl...I have a daughter with celiac disease (must eat gluten free), but that is a walk in the park compared to trying to feed my son with EE. He is off the Top 8 and some fruits, also has an NG tube for formula. Plus all the things you have to watch out for... I have a lot of students who are gluten intolerant and are very label conscious.
I did try some cookies the other day (from a mix) that were gluten free. They tasted almost the same-- just a little more crumbly.
Robbie-- I wrote the post! But Damaris is normally more social-conscious. My son is gluten intolerant so I can identify with the stress of ALWAYS having to cook from scratch and read labels all the timeAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03376726661081769681noreply@blogger.com
